Flexion Mobile: Partners with King to distribute Candy Crush - ABG

Flexion to distribute Candy Crush on alternative app stores
Potential revenue contribution of up to ~GBP 30m per year
We expect consensus to raise sales estimates by 10-15%

Candy Crush could add ~GBP 30m sales over time

Flexion announces that it has teamed up with the leading mobile games company King (now part of Microsoft after its Activision Blizzard merger) to bring its flagship game Candy Crush to the Huawei App Gallery, Samsung Galaxy Store, Xiaomi Get Apps and ONE store. Like MONOPOLY GO!, Candy Crush is a top five grossing game on the Google Play Store, with estimated annual revenue of ~GBP 300m. As such, we think Candy Crush could generate up to ~GBP 30m in annual revenue for Flexion over time although we expect revenue from the game to be significantly lower initially. Moreover, unlike when Flexion signed the deal with Scopely (including the game MONOPOLY GO!), it is not making an upfront payment for the distribution rights with King, it seems like, which we find positive.
